How do I change my password?

First, login to your account and then click on 'Manage My Profile.'  You then change your password by first entering your current password and then your new password.

I forgot my password, what do I do now?

From the homepage, click on the 'Forgot Your Password' link and type in your email address.  Within a minute or two your password will be emailed to you.

How do I change my User ID?

You can't change your User ID.  If you would like to change your User ID, please send an email to the Admin stating why you want to change it. If we approve your request, we will email you with your new User ID.

I haven't received my email confirmation and password.

First, check if it went in your Junk folder.  If not, on the bottom of the page click 'Login,' then click 'Resend Confirmation.'  Now just enter your email address and you will receive your confirmation number.

My User ID and password aren't being accepted.

Check to make sure caps lock isn’t on.  If it's not on, just click on 'Forgot Password' and fill in your email address.  You will receive your username and password in just a few minutes.

How do I delete my account?

You can't delete your account.  Also see Changing your username above.

How do I respond to comments?

On the PC Page, click on 'Post' and you will be able to see all comments from other people, and you can post your own as well. Only registered members can post a comment.

How do I delete unwanted comments?

On the PC Page click 'Post.'  On the next page, click on 'Manage User Comments.'  To delete a comment, just check the checkbox and click on 'Delete Selected.'

How do I upload pictures?

First, you will need to add a new PC.  Once you've created your new PC, select 'Build PC Page,' and you will see where to upload your images. Just click 'Browse' and select the image.  After that, click 'Upload.'  You can only upload .JPG and .GIF images.

Is music or videos allowed?

You are not allowed to add music to your page.  However, you are allowed to add a YouTube video to your page as long as it deals with computers.

How do I have the images appear on my PC page?

Click on 'Insert' at the bottom of the image you want.

How do I delete unwanted pictures?

Click 'Delete' at the bottom of the picture you want to get rid of.

How do I remove a page?

Click 'Delete Page' on the page you want to delete. You cannot delete the first page.

How do I edit my PC's Information?

The account page is where you view and add your PC's.  Click on the PC's name, and you can then change your PC's name, summary or specs.

Community Questions

Is hotlinking allowed?

Yes, you are allowed to hotlink MyPCRig.com images.

Is nudity allowed?

You are not allowed to upload pictures containing lewd or profane material.  The Admin will decide what's acceptable, and his word is law.

How do I report inappropriate material?

If you see any inappropriate material, click on 'Report Abuse' and select which category it's under and a brief description of the inappropriate material.

How do I become PC Rig of the Week?

Simple,  whoever gets the most votes for the 'PC of the Week' for the previous week. The results are posted each Monday.  If you win, your PC Rig will be displayed on the following week on the main page.

How are the Top Rated PC pages chosen?

The PC Page with the most votes per category will be displayed.

I have a suggestion, how can I contact My PC Rig?

Go the bottom of any page, and click 'contact us.'  From there you will be able to fill-out a form and we will try to get back to you ASAP.

How do I get my event posted on the event page?

You will need to fill out the submit event form and within 24 hours, it will be approved or disapproved.
