keep your eyes open some new pics comming soon i am brading the wires in my rig to really tidy up hope it goes well ps im not botherering with the delta fan it only drops the tems by 2c whats the point :(

How come its HOT in The UK,anyways I did some hectice cable management as u pointed out. check it out,
my temps dropped by 3C. I talked to some people at Nehru Place(largest IT complex in the world),they told me my Q6600 is stepping G0 so thats why its more stable and less hot.
Try liquid cooling!

im using artick silver 5 cpu compound and i have re applied the cooler meany times but i gust cant get the temps down even tried different fans but nothing same temps all the time i just dont know what to do as long as its undr 70c intel burn test i and botherd

I read about this cooler, it's performance competes with the V8.
I dont know why ur cpu is running this hot.
Check if you need to apply thermal paste.
P.S. i used the intel burn test tool and got stable results at standard stress level temps were 55c at 100% load.

my cooler is the thermalright extreme 120mm with delta ffb1212ehe 120mm fan @5volts becuse @12volts it does 4000rpm and is verry noisy

i tried puting the memory DIMMS in the sots 1 and 3 but the mobo started making a long continous beeping sound.
I have a 780i so i use the Nvidia monitor utility to check the temps.
I try using the Intel tool you told me about and see if it shows otherwise.
What CPU cooler are you using?

This Rig can swallow Crysis in one bite.
And thanks, you were rite abt the my CPU cooler being upside down,don't knw y it was given that way in the manual. I also removed the black cover from the fan and OCed my whole rig. Check it out when get the chance
